Tory Burch Woodlands Hosts International Honorees

Just a few days prior to Mother’s Day, LCAHouston Host/Founder, Ruchi Mukherjee hosted its International Mother’s Day Honoree Announcement Kick Off celebration at the Tory Burch in The Woodlands Market Street, for the Annual International Mother’s Day Soirée that has been running successfully for nine years now in Houston, Texas.

Ms. Mukherjee started her career as a journalist in India. The Annual International Mother’s Day Soirée is an inspiration from one of her series of stories she had written for The Statesman and The Times of India on the Fabulous and Philanthropic Mothers of Houston. “The mission behind this event is to bridge the gap between the ethnic and mainstream communities,” explains Ruchi. Each year, a dozen or less mothers of various ethnicities and professions, are honored to showcase diversity and celebrate motherhood.

A fashionable crowd gathered for “Bubbles & Macroons” and celebrate the announcement of 10 Woodlands women representing a diverse range of backgrounds.

Co-Chair Meka Coxon revealed the names while Ruchi presented the bouquets. The 2022 Woodlands Edition of LCAHouston International Mother’s Day Soirée Honorees are: Merlen Amanda, Elizabeth Hardcastle, Masha Grimes, Cheryl Haseeb, Loren Hamilton, Tina Kosh, Christine Nguyen, Diana Nemeth, Rani Puranik, Courtney Pell Wilkerson, Lorrie Parise, Patti Rivela and Showstopper Missy Herndon, President & CEO of Interfaith of The Woodlands.

Each year LCAHouston has headlined some fabulous showstoppers including names such as Dominique Sachse, Hallie Vanderhider, Wendy Granato, Yolanda Adams, just to name a few.

The main event is scheduled to be held on October 16, 2022 in The Woodlands with yet another glamorous theme: “Afternoon Tea” highlighting the Interfaith Ministries of The Woodlands.
