Festari Hunks Take the Runway for Bo's Place

The Houston gala season is in full swing, and though there are a number of newcomers to the scene, some staple events are not to be missed. The Festari for Men “Una Notte In Italia” ranks amongst Houston’s most prominent social events of the year.

Elite men’s store ‘Festari For Men‘ owners Rudy and Debbie Festari hosted this year’s program at The Royal Sonesta Hotel. As every year, they honor the Bayou City’s most beautiful men, from entrepreneurs to athletes. This year’s list included businessman Ajay Khurana, Dr. William Guerra, attorney James Lassiter, and Texan’s running back Alfred Blue. All the men were looking sharp and decked out as they strutted down the catwalk.

Channel 2 KPRC-TV’s Dominique Sachse and Andy Cerota lent their talents as MC and Auctioneer for the evening. From bids on wonderful Italian and Houston holiday packages, to silent auction items, the Festari’s raised $350,000 to benefit the deserving Bo’s Place, a nonprofit bereavement center that offers free grief support services to children, families and adults.

The organization is named in memory of Laurence Bosworth Neuhaus, Jr.. Keeping his spirit and memories alive, the tears at Bo’s Place are tears that heal, bringing with them hope and recovery so children can grieve and move forward. The video presentation at the gala brought tears to many but the fabulous fashionable gentlemen walking the ramp did an awesome job to cheer everyone up. For twenty-five years Bo’s Place has been trying to heal the broken heart.

Italian origin Rudy Festari is a hard working successful businessman who along with his wife Debbie proudly run this family owned concept which is located on the prestigious Post Oak Boulevard in the galleria area. Rudy originally of Rome, Italy, is known for his distinct sense of style, and along with his many years of fashion experience, is well respected for his knowledge of men’s apparel.

Those rocking the runway for this noble cause included: Jeff Abel, Astley Blair, Jonathan Farb, Garrett Graham, Travis Torrence, Chad Zamarin, Billy Toomey, Dr. William Guerra, Ben Dugger, Luis Bauer, Andre Hal, to name a few. With an outstanding event chairman Eloise Frischkorn Bauer, Honorary Chairman Debbie Festari, and event committee Nicole Lassiter, Vivian Wise, Megan Sutton Reed and Melissa Mithoff, as always Una Note Italia was a gala not to be missed.
