Masquerade Ballet Ball

Wednesday, February 18 at the Wortham Theater, it was all about lavish ball gowns and a tribute to romance – ‘Romeo and Juliet’. The Houston Ballet Ball chairs Melissa and Michael Mithoff, Monsour Taghdisi and Henry Richardson raised more than a million dollars. Guests had a fun time playing with the theme for the ball – ‘The Masked Ball’, flaunting fabulous masks.

The crowd included Stanton Welch, Lynn Wyatt, Betty Tutor, Bethie Muecke, Leigh and Reggie Smith, Karina Barbieri, Houston Ballet executive director Jim Nelson and many others. The evening honorees were: Phoebe and Bobby Tudor.
