High Fashion Returns to The Woodlands in an Exclusive Black Tie Affair
High fashion returns to our community as kids go back to school, with the debut of The Walk The Woodlands, an evening black tie fashion affair benefiting Interfaith of The Woodlands and Interfaith Community Clinic. Seasonal trends from Saks Fifth Avenue will headline the New York Style Runway Fashion Show, which will include six local Community Champions, culminating in a one-of-a-kind grand finale guaranteed to impress.
St. Luke’s Health serves as the event’s Presenting Sponsor, while Sewell Automotive Companies is the Exclusive Automotive Partner. Both are long-time supporters of Interfaith with deep roots in the South Montgomery County region. “We are humbled to have the continued support from both St. Luke’s and Sewell,” remarked Missy Herndon, President & CEO of both Interfaith of The Woodlands and Interfaith Community Clinic, “they are tremendous community partners and have remained committed to our missions even in the most challenging of times. We look forward to celebrating this new, exciting event with them as we continue to raise critical funds to meet the healthcare and basic needs of our neighbors in Montgomery County.”
Chosen through a selection committee, Brian Albert, Noemi Gonzalez, DeAnn Guidry, Justin Hogan, MD, Diane Kink and Ray Sanders will serve as the Inaugural Community Champions. The honorees will highlight the fashion show, with production creatively led by Lenny Matuszewski, Jr., renowned Houston show producer and a Woodlands native. The fashion show will be followed by an electric After Party headlined by the band, Time Machine. The first annual event will be held at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center, beginning at 6 pm on Friday, August 19, 2022. Co-chaired by Erin Doré and Heather Sanford, all event proceeds fund programs offered through Interfaith of The Woodlands and Interfaith Community Clinic.
