Former Miss Texas USA and Entrepreneur and Designer of Creations By Niki Lassiter Celebrated her 40th Birthday in a Disney Themed Extravaganza
“When you want your former MISS TEXAS USA® and Disney fan wife to feel like a princess for her 40th birthday, throw a Cinderella’s Ball,” shared Houston attorney James Lassiter. Alongside the Birthday gal’s very talented mother Denise O’Brian, the lavish detailed décor was orchestrated by Macy Lima Celebrations, transforming the ZaZa Museum District venue into a magical, fairy tale setting.
The Birthday Princess was stunning in an iris, Tony Ward Couture gown, with crystal detailing and dancing feathers on the cape hemline. Niki’s gown would have inspired even the most discriminating Fairy Godmother.
An enchanted evening awaited the 200 odd guests as they stepped into Hotel ZaZa, beginning with a mystical forest complete with fairies and greetings from an in-character Maleficent. Prince Charming performed a classic Disney playlist on the piano during the cocktail hour. Guests were immersed into the Disney experience with familiar costumed Disney characters in all the party rooms and ballroom. The photo ops were endless! The evening included Cinderella, Maleficent, Aladdin, Jasmine, Lumiere, and of course Beauty (Belle) and the Beast, just to name a few. Amazing Broadway caliber performances were given by the talented performers from J&D Entertainment. Dancing to the Lion King, and performances of other all-time favorite Disney songs, kept guests entertained all evening. A black and gold Italian crème castle cake, complete with a horse drawn carriage was created by Good Gosh Ganache. The talented DJ Cesar Gil had the guests grooving by the end of the night.
Just like every fairy tale has a happy ending, before the clock struck midnight, Niki thanked all her friends and family for making her feel loved and for sharing in the happiest, most magical night of her life.
