Love is a beautiful thing if shared and experienced with the right person. While Houston can boast to be at the forefront in business, employment growth and cultural heights we can also certainly claim Htown to be a hot spot for love and romance. With the rise of society parties and galas, Houston’s couples are rocking the scene.
Lights Camera Action, Houston’s Lifestyle Society Magazine is very proud to present this Valentine Season the story of HTown’s ‘IT’ Couples. We selected 10 best ‘IT’ Couples for 2012.
In today’s segment we will only unveil five of the ‘IT’ Couples.
This is the lovely story of this power couple Dr. Renu and Suresh Khator: This couple’s love story is unique as they started off their journey with the traditional arranged marriage but that did not stop them from falling madly in love with each other and achieve such success. Today Dr. Renu Khator has grown from a shy quiet Indian bride to the President of University of Houston. They are spotted at many Indian and American events supporting various causes and despite such high powered lives they don’t miss the chance to look into each other with encouragement and love as if time never passed by.
Kile Churman, recently got engaged to the love of her life and long time friend, Zack Spelz. The couple made it official during a weekend getaway in D.C, and plan to wed this April. Kile does fundraising for the American Red Cross and shares a passion with Zack for non profits and the community. This is something they plan to incorporate into their wedding to make the event not only special and romantic, but beneficial for charities. Now that’s called sharing is loving.
OK now if you are sexy, fun and know how to have fun then you might know this couple for sure. David and Shiva Rafferty scream love, happiness and sexiness. They are fashionable, always happy to support charities and most importantly know how to spice it up. According to their friend Courtney Bickford, individually David and Shiva are two of the best people she has known and together they make an extraordinary couple. “I can only hope that my marriage will be long lasting and as loving as theirs,” says Bickford.
Local ABC 13 Reporter Sonia Azad has been dating her college sweetheart Ben from Chicago, but recently worked her charm and stirred the long distance relationship, mesmerizing him to move to good ol’ Texas. She hosted a Texas style party with friends to welcome her lover boy.
Sudz and Anjali Khawaja are head turners at every Indo American Charity event. This couple is hot, they remind us of Bollywood as Anjali can totally sizzle the dance floor and make Sudz dance to her tunes. For the couple it’s all about keeping it simple, “we’re who we are no matter where we are or who we are with, just two young-at-heart 40 somethings, keeping it real but fun, with the occasional moments of silly filmi-ness to remind us of the sweetness of being together,” says Anjali.
