Houston Symphony Ball Hosted 400 plus Guests Raising One Million Dollars
Houston Symphony’s 2024 Symphony Ball welcomed 400 plus guests donning white tie and glamorous gowns to The Post Oak Hotel to celebrate this year’s Symphony Ball themed “Vienna Fête Impériale”. The evening, chaired by Tammie & Dr. Charles Johnson and Drs. Alice Mao Brams & Matt Brams, raised one million for the orchestra’s industry-leading Education and Community Engagement initiatives.
The Symphony recognized Brigitte & Bashar Kalai with the Houston Symphony Philanthropy Award, Dr. Sippi Khurana with the Stewart Orton Golden Baton Award, and Betty & Jesse Tutor with the Houston Symphony Lifetime Achievement Award, as this year’s Symphony Ball honorees, for their continued philanthropic contributions to the arts and impact of the Houston community.
Inspired by the Ball’s theme, guests were welcomed by a dazzling debutant Viennese Waltz opening and orator, both adding to the fanfare of the evening.
