The Woodlands Welcome Amrina
The lush beautiful Woodlands was bustling with color, spice and fragrance mid June as Amrina finally arrived to The Woodlands. It was an evening not to be missed as the finest champagne, caviar and tequila flowed for an affluent group of guests.
Amrina, a luxury dining experience, is the first concept designed by Kahani Social Group. Located at 3 Waterway Square Place, Suite 100, this restaurant promises to serve an inspired menu by Executive Chef, Jaspratap “Jassi” Bindra who is the creative mind behind the Amrina’s menu and is responsible for operational standards for the front and back of house and every guest touchpoint to ensure an excellent experience. His specialty is the essence of classical Indian dishes with eclectic expressions, and creating a gastronomical journey inspired by his childhood.
“Amrina highlights food from all regions of India, looking through the eclectic lens with a spotlight ingredient in each dish,” explains Bindra. Overall his vision through this restaurant Amrina (which means Princess) hopes to share a piece of his culture and himself with every dish to generate lasting excitement for Indian cuisine, leading him on a never-ending expedition to highlight the authentic Indian cooking styles with a distinctive riff on familiar dishes. His goal is to create a voyage of taste, texture and temperature using locally-sourced ingredients with innovative techniques.
