With 2021 firmly in our rear view mirror, and what seems to be in a blink of an eye, 2022 has approached us with a new look and new challenges. LCAHouston International Society Magazine has created a fun list of Top 10 Events and People to watch out for. Here you go!
1. Taste of the Town
One month, one price for an ultimate feasting experience. Taste of the Town Restaurant Month is a paradise for foodies looking to fulfill their cravings and sample local area cuisine all month long! 2. Junior League of Houston 74th Annual Charity Ball, The Road Home

3. Woodlands Rotary Gala
Rotary Club of The Woodlands is pleased to announce their gala on February 12th honoring US Congressman Kevin and Cathy Brady. This year’s theme is Mardi Gras, with the tagline, “Laissez les bon temps rouler.” In the true spirit of Mardi Gras, they have named Tammy and Danny Schroder as King and Queen of the Mardi Gras Ball.

4. Asia Society Tiger Ball
Tiger Ball will take place on Friday, March 11th and will commemorate the 10th anniversary of their building’s opening. They will be paying tribute to the following trailblazers dedicated to building cross-cultural understanding and friendships: visual artist Tiffany Chung, astronaut Soichi Noguchi, and Chancellor of the University of Houston Renu Khator. Honorary Co-Chairs for this year will be Nancy C. Allen and Anne and Albert Chao, and Event Co-Chairs are Tripp S. Carter and Leigh McCranie Smith.

Beautifully designed by Yoshio Taniguchi, this building transformed Asia Society’s ability to serve our community, and came to fruition due to the tremendous dedication and commitment of Nancy Allen and Anne and Albert Chao. This year’s Tiger Ball will honor their success in building an architectural work of art, while also highlighting trailblazers that exemplify Asia Society’s mission to build cross cultural understanding. 5. Children’s Museum of Houston’s Friends and Families Luncheon
The upcoming Friends and Families Luncheon is scheduled to be held on Friday, Feb. 25 at the River Oaks Country Club. The 2022 Friends & Families Luncheon will support the Children’s Museum Houston’s mission to transform communities and bring engaging, hands-on learning to Houston’s children. The event’s keynote speaker, Marc Bracket, PhD, is a research psychologist and the Founding Director of the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence and Professor in the Child Study Center at Yale University. 6. Wags & Whiskers Brunch
Interfaith Ministries is thrilled to invite you to the upcoming Wags & Whiskers Brunch (formerly Best Friends Brunch) on Saturday, February 26th from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at the Lone Star Flight Museum. The brunch will raise much needed funds for the Animeals pet food and vet care program for the homebound seniors in the Meals on Wheels program of Interfaith Ministries of Houston.

8. Houston Area Women’s Center 2022 BELIEVE Luncheon
