Cars and Coffee for a Cause
With cool temperatures and the sun shining bright on Sunday, February 7, a week ahead of Valentine’s Day, was the perfect setting for gorgeous couples and families to gather on Market Street for The Woodlands Cars & Coffee Event.
The Woodlands Cars & Coffee for a Cause Charity Car Display event was created in 2009 by one of the original TWCC members, Dana Pritchard from The Woodlands area. Every first Sunday of each month from 6:30-10:30 am The Woodlands Car Club enthusiasts gather at Market Street to continue its efforts to cater a fun and creative way to give back to the community.
“Our mission is to provide a morning gathering to show off special vehicles within the car community, and be a supportive partner with Market Street and the local community and share information about needful non-profit organizations in Montgomery County, and to give back monetarily as well,” explains Dana Pritchard.
For the last eleven years, TWCC has collected and donated over $10,000 to local charities from this program.
With over 150 cars on display, it is certainly a perfect event for car enthusiasts to head over to The Woodlands and as Dana explains, what better way than to use cars to give back to our community.
