World Affairs Council Honors Texas Medical Center’s CEO

The World Affairs Council of Greater Houston hosted a private at the residence of Dr. Stephen and Lauren Kramer on Tuesday, August 23rd in celebration of their Annual Jesse H. Jones Award Gala.

The evening was held in honor of the 2016 International Citizen of the Year, Dr. Robert C. Robbins. An internationally recognized surgeon, Dr. Robbins serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Texas Medical Center (TMC). Dr. Robbins, along with other TMC representatives and the representatives from the Federal Reserve, reporters from International Focus magazine and International Society News, attended the reception in anticipation for the Council’s gala, which will take place at The Hilton Americas on Tuesday, September 13th. Chevron, Schlumberger, and Shell are just a few of the leading sponsors that will be attending the gala and supporting the Council through their contributions.
