Friends and Family Children’s Museum Luncheon
Innovative role playing and creative exercises helped raise a whopping $114,000 at the Friends and Family Children’s Museum Luncheon.
The Children’s Museum of Houston and chairs Divya Brown and Candace Thomas welcomed IDEO’s Digital Kids Team Lead, Michelle Lee, to the 2016 Friends and Families Luncheon on March 2, 2016 at the River Oaks Country Club.
Lee delivered a dynamic message on fostering creativity and innovation through play by engaging attendees with role-playing and creative exercises during the luncheon.
The event was a resounding success raising nearly $114,000 for the Museum’s early childhood and parenting programs. Nearly 400 parents, educators, families and friends came together for awareness and philanthropy at this enlightening event.
It was a fashionable luncheon with mostly ladies in spring frocks. Spotted supporting the Children’s Museum were: Matt Burrus, Michael Pearce, Lindley Arnoldy, Emcee Gina Gaston, Melinda Spaulding, Mandy Kao, Staci Henderson, Anika Jackson, Gina Li, Azra Rauf, Toni Tate, Amber Elliot, Maha Rasheed Khan, and many others.
