More Than You Can Imagine Hosts Ben Rose
Vicki Rizzo owner of More Than You Can Imagine, along with Mauri Oliver were the perfect hosts for a campaign kick off event for Ben Rose For Texas State Representative District 134. Ben Rose is the son of acclaimed plastic surgeon in Houston Franklin Rose and silhouettes artist Cindi Rose. Both Ben and his wife Laura Rose along with their friends and family love Houston and the incredible opportunities the city has to offer, however at the same time they can no longer be complacent about the near-to-last education ranking, the failing public services and the well being and safety of the children. “As one of America’s major cities, it’s time to step up and take care of each other by taking care of our city and the people in it. Ben feels the need for this kind of change in his bones every day, and when it comes to making a real difference, there’s no one more passionate or more willing to do so than he is. Ben is running for office to take real responsibility for this city we live in. You can’t hear him speak and not know that this is his true purpose,” explains Laura.
Guests at the kick off reception enjoyed light bites and bubbles but most importantly, the gracious hosts and attendees put their hearts and souls into making the event such a success, and the store could not have been a more ideal place to host a fundraiser. It’s much more typical to have a political fundraiser in a restaurant or in someone’s home, but not one person left the event without saying “now THIS was a great venue!” “When it came to choosing a space, we went with something unique to reflect the unique nature of our grassroots campaign. The inviting space offered tons of beautiful things to look at and a little something for everyone,” shared Laura and Ben.
Among the supporters who attended this fundraiser soiree were: Leisa Holland-Nelson, Frann Gordon Lichtenstein, Jill Deutser, Clifford Pugh, Karen Love, Gerald Broussard, Karen Garcia, Charity Yarborough, Patrick Yarborough, Henley Siegrist, Marilu Barnes Garza, Darian Ward, Cindi and Franklin Rose, Francis Nugent,
and Andrew Cobos.
