Men of Style Strut Fashion and Compassion
Let The Fashions Begin Men of Style has reached its 18th successful year with Founder/Hostess Clarease Yates. This year’s theme was ‘Stand-up for the Children’ with the mission to make the world a better place by totally eradicating Sickle Cell Disease. Fashionable men and women gathered at the JW Marriott Hotel in Houston Galleria to cheer for the wonderful mission and for their favorite ‘celebrity’ male models.
It was a packed house with distinguished emcee Jose Grinan FOX 26 Morning Anchor (also a former Men of Style model) and the lovely Rita Garcia who looked stunning in a David Peck gown. The audience was held captive with the smooth flowing event and live band, and guests strolled the foyer bidding on on exciting auction items.
“Each year we are blessed with an even greater group of volunteers, co-chairs, sponsors and all the blessings. Each one of our steering committee members has gone way above and beyond and this year Fred Hoyer is the recipient of the Judith Jones Award. I am so grateful for all the work these wonderful people do to make this dream come true,” shares Yates with a twinkle in her eye.
