Lights Camera Action’s 2015 Most Stylish Men and Women
It is that time of the year again. As we get ready to bid adieu to another fabulous year, LCA Houston looks back on some wonderful moments.
The year 2015 kick started with a successful 3rd Annual International Mothers’ Day Soiree, followed by an exciting collaboration with Fox 26 through our segment “Keeping the traditions alive” embracing cultures around the world and various travel features.

While we reflect on these precious moments LCA is delighted to present 2015’s Most Stylish Men and Women who have touched various lives through their fields of expertise whether it being fashion and media or medicine and technology. Being from different cultures and ethnic backgrounds they have played a vital role in supporting the community and made an everlasting impact on many lives with their generosity and kindness.
Rob Todd: Tall and demure, Rob Todd is making headlines as Houston Business Journal recently declared his company Amplified Solutions as one of the fastest growing companies earning a place on the Houston Business Journal’s 2015 Fast 100 List. Rob Todd is a dedicated father and efficient businessman who is taking great strides into the future with his innovative approach.
Staci Henderson: One lady who is creating a lot of buzz in the community with her fashion, style and philanthropic endeavors is Staci Henderson. She is taking Houston’s fashion scene with a storm. She is always a busy bee supporting or hosting charitable events while having a good time.
Jerri Moore: There is truly nothing Jerri can’t do. The statement is so true as my relationship with Jerri goes back to her designer days when she produced an amazing runway collection right here in Houston, Texas. Jerri Moore is a third generation Houstonian, proud mother of two boys, and a loving wife of Jim Moore. She is a feature film producer, clothing designer, philanthropist and is currently a Board Member of The Council on Alcohol and Drugs Houston and her family foundation The Duddlesten Foundation.
James Lassiter: James Lassiter is the CEO of the Lassiter Law Firm, where his practice is devoted to helping people who have been injured and make sure that their rights are protected and voices are heard. He is also charity driven and stands by justice and equality of rights. He was recently spotted taking a fashionable stand while walking the ramp at the Una Notte Italia presented by Festari for Men benefitting BO’s Place.
Nancy Almodovar: Always in high heels and chic look, Nancy Almodovar is a business woman with a great style who truly enjoys helping people. We call her the Real Estate Guru with a very loving heart. There are so many interesting facets about this fabulous lady. Nancy Almodovar CEO/President NAN & Co Properties is one of Houston’s most happening people. She is a powerhouse at her lavish high-rise office at the BBVA Compass Building on Post Oak Blvd overlooking the beautiful Galleria.
Nicole O’brian Lassiter: She is stunning, beautiful, and amazingly down to Earth. Former Miss Texas and Miss USA runner-up, Nicole O’Brian Lassiter is one of Houston’s gems. At present married to an amazingly awesome man and a proud mom of 3 kids. Currently an actor and model with Page Parkes Center of Modeling and Acting in Houston and she is the CEO of a consulting business, Bee Your Best Inc. where she coaches young women on stage presentation, modeling, poise, styling as well as interview training and interpersonal skills.
Rudy Festari: Style is the middle name of Italian origin Rudy Festari who is a hard working successful businessman along with his wife Debbie. They proudly run this family owned concept which is located on the prestigious Post Oak Boulevard in the galleria area. Rudy originally of Rome, Italy, is known for his distinct sense of style, and along with his many years of fashion experience and is well respected for his knowledge of men’s apparel.
Ajay Khurana: With a debonair personality, Ajay Khurana is the Managing Director and Co-Head of Energy for Americas at Investment Bank, Jefferies and Co, with focus on mergers and acquisitions in oil and gas. Along with his wife Dr. Sippi Khurana and loving kids, he has made Houston his home and impacts the community with his generosity and giving nature.
Stephanie Von Stein: 1 in 4 women will experience domestic violence in her lifetime. A powerhouse in herself, Stephanie Von Stein is not any regular girl, she is an accomplished professional, holding a high power job with about 300 employees under her. Yet she fell victim to domestic violence, not because she was weak or at fault, but that she simply loved and trusted someone. Stephanie believes in the importance of using your voice to tell your story and took charge of her life when she stood up against the abuse and domestic violence that she was being subjected to.
Andy Cerota: Andy Cerota anchors KPRC Channel 2 news at 11 am weekdays and Channel 2 news at Noon. He is a native New Yorker but considers himself an adopted son of Texas. He has called Houston home for the past 12 years. He says what he loves most about Houston is its diversity and how our city has such heart and soul.
Dr. Neelofur Ahmad: Neelofur R. Ahmad, MD, is a board certified radiation oncologist and Medical Director of Radiation Oncology at Memorial Hermann Greater Heights Hospital. No gossip no pretensions! Dr. Neelofur means business, an eloquent speaker with a striking personality who reflects sophistication and grace seldom losing focus from her goals and visions.
Teresa Cox Reading: RN, Practice Administrator at William H. Reading, MD: Recovery, Psychiatric, & TMS Services. Teresa loves her hats and fascinators and wears them perfectly at any given occasion. Her beautiful and generous heart gives hope to many. She is passionate about various causes but mental health related issues tops the list.
Corbett Parker: Popularly known as the Rotary guy, Corbett Daniel Parker (no relation to Mayor Annise Parker) was elected in 2009 as youngest Councilman in City of Bellaire. He was also Houston Business Journal Top 40 under 40 Award Winner; Joanne King Herring Young Humanitarian Award Winner; Five Outstanding Young Houstonians Awards presented by Houston Jaycees; Rotary District 5890 Small Club President of the Year, and winner of Multiple Paul Harris Fellows (for being Rotarian that brought in the most new members out of over 3,000 Rotarians).
Toni Tate: Married to Howard Tate, Toni is a loving mother to her two step-daughters Hannah and Grace. Toni is known for her kind heart and has participated in fundraising for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and The River, which provides fine arts opportunities to children with disabilities. She was involved with Helping Hands/The Family Place, a provider of family violence services in the Fort Wort/Dallas area. She has helped put a smile across many faces through her giving nature but hates to be in the limelight.
Michael Pearce: His favorite thing is make wildly inappropriate jokes and he has often told very important people that he has worked in adult films or that they might have served in prison together. He has a warped sense of humor. But all jokes apart, Michael Pearce is a senior legal counsel for a global energy services company, but rarely do people know him from his professional career. He knows how to throw the fabulous parties and charity events. Along with husband Matt Burrus, he also writes a parenting blog for the Houston Chronicle called the Gayby Boom Blog in which they share a great deal about their journey of having two small children via surrogacy. Pearce is a great asset to Houston’s fashion scene.
