Tiger Ball 2016 Kicks-off in High Gear!
Houston is known for being a philanthropic city and also quiet popular for its lavish galas. Tiger Ball is Asia Society Texas Center’s biggest annual fundraiser gala event and one of Houston’s most anticipated social events. Tiger Ball 2016 will be held at the Asia Society Texas Center on March, 9, 2016 celebrating Korea’s rich history and vibrant culture.
The celebrations for this high profile soiree officially kicked into high gear, Thursday November 20, 2015. Asia Society Texas Center’s grand patron Mrs. Nancy C. Allen, welcomed nearly 200 guests into her stunningly beautiful Galleria area home for Tiger Ball 2016’s kick-off party. It was standing room only as the illustrious guests, patrons, business, cultural and political leaders gathered at Mrs. Allen’s serene, tree-lined backyard.
Among the notable attendees were gala honoree Eddie Allen III, his lovely wife Chinhui Juhn, was away on business. Also present, Sushila and Durga Agrawal, Joni Baird, Bonna Kol (Asia Society Texas Center’s Executive Director), Kathy and Martyn Goossen, Sylvia and Gordon Quan, Gigi and Timothy K. Seo, Sue and Randy Sim, and gala co-chairs Lou Ann and Alexander C. Chae and Susan and Michael K. Jhin. Also spotted some regular Tiger Ball patrons: Rob Todd, Nat and Leela Krishnamurthy, Donatello Basile Benchenstein, Ishwaria and Vivek Subbiah, and many others.
