Celebrating Janeth
On Thursday January 22, 2015, Houston lost a shining light. At only 22 years old Janeth Mireles was killed by a drunk driver on the way home after work. She was less than 3 miles from home in Katy when her Nissan was t-boned on the passenger side.
Janeth was the Nan & Co. Properties coordinator who was in charge of organizing the very successful grand opening of the new office in the Compass BBVA building on Post Oak Blvd.
After her event she went to eat and was on the way home when the accident happened. “Janeth is very dear to everyone and her family is devastated,” says Nancy Almodovar, President CEO of NAN & Co. Properties.
On Friday, a gathering for her friends and family was hosted at Mio Boutique along with a trunk show by Zayver Jewels Bela Thacker to raise dollars for her funeral fund. The evening was filled with beautiful friends coming out to shop for a noble cause. Event hosts Mio Boutique, Zayver Jewels, NAN & Co. Properties, and Lights Camera Action were very moved with the support the community offered and we all took a few moments to remember our beautiful friend Janeth.
Supporting the evening were: Debbie Festari, Kim Garcia, Claudia Gutierrez, Diane Angel, Kathleen McCarter, Jacqui Mireles, Michelle Arreguin, and many others.
If you have the capacity, we are requesting everyone to donate to her funeral fund to offset her family’s expenses. Below is the link where you can contribute.
