Fashion Houston Rolls Out The Red Carpet

Houston is known nationally for being one of the most diverse cities in America, and Houston is proudly showing off its diversity at this year’s Fashion Houston. Why should New York and Milan get all the fun? Houston has so much to offer the fashion world, and this is apparent as Fashion Houston is in full swing for the fifth year at the Wortham Center.

In a medley of live models walking the runway and pre-recorded videos (one of which featured our mayor, Annise Parker!) FH5 is reminding people why Houston is known for innovation.

It’s a beautiful location and the outfits being shown are even more glamorous. Tuesday, November 18, Day 1 Fashion Houston kicked off warmly welcoming some local designers from various ethnicities. While new upcoming designers got a warm welcome, Houston was awed by renowned designer Naeem Khan, who showcased his 2015 Spring Collection on Day 2 at Fashion Houston.

Fashion Houston 5 is off to a great start. Stay tuned to LCA to see what else this year’s edition will bring to the stage.
