Glitter and Glamor highlighted this posh evening affair as Houston’s fashionable ladies and gentlemen gathered for a VIP preview of the newly opened POSH Salon on Post Oak Blvd, an Aveda lifestyle salon, to celebrate Lights Camera Action Host Ruchi Mukherjee‘s birthday on Friday September 8, 2015. The evening also celebrated an exclusive CKW Collection Crystal Clutch Trunk Show by Connie Kwan Wong to benefit Kids Meals.

Hosts Vivian Yeh, POSH Salon owner and philanthropist along with Connie Kwan Wong, designer and active in the charity field, flawlessly planned a fabulous evening of fashion, champagne and crystal studded cake by Boulangerie with endless rounds of delicious food bites that were generously provided by True Foods. Models walked around with CKW Clutches adorning glamorous hair-dos and make up by POSH showcasing fall trends. Gentlemen enjoyed the open patio at the salon smoking cigars by LUCHO.
Nestled in the newest upscale neighborhood of Houston, POSH Salon brings a new level of style to Houston and the Galleria area. POSH is an Aveda-brand salon bringing the most exquisite products and services to the Uptown District. Upon arrival guests posed with hosts, taking a tour of the salon and got mesmerized by the CKW Collection a unique company that believes in the idea of ‘beautiful inside and out’. “We combine beauty and charity. I strongly believe in that giving is better than receiving and our clutches are one of a kind custom made and part of the proceeds from the sales always go to a charity,” explains the designer herself.
Since Lights Camera Action Houston Society News is all about luxury, fashion and style, we had the amazing Jared Lang of Fashion Houston inform the guests of the upcoming Fashion Houston. Amongst the other prominent guests present at the evening were: Edward Sanchez, Donae Chramosta, Varda Dror, Alex Blair, Yasmine Haddad, Rita Garcia, Azra Rauf, Sippi and Ajay Khurana, Karina Barbieri, Toni and Howard Tate, Habiba and Ali Dhanani, Lori Freese, Tiffany T. Zhang, Adela Uchida, Jacquie Baly, Claudia Ayala, and many others.
Each and everyone walked away with a swag bag courtesy of POSH Salon, while a few lucky ones won raffle items like Parvizian Rug, POSH Salon makeover and massage and gift certificate by Dr. Huma’s Med Spa. Overall a fun filled evening leaving the guests wanting to come back for another posh evening!
