Lights Camera Action brought together Parisian Fashion at the very chic Sam & Lilli boutique along side Mughal Style Jewelry AR Designers By Arefa Merchant. A fashion day out where guests shopped and supported young talented kids making rainbow loom bracelets. The event was a kick off for DIL – Developments In Literacy’s upcoming gala on October 19, 2014.
The organization, Developments in Literacy also known as DIL, runs more than 175 schools, mostly in remote areas in Pakistan. In places like Swat, where Malala Yousafzai was shot by the Taliban for being an outspoken advocate for girls’ education. After all we are all Citizens of the world and that is shown in Houston’s diverse culture.
