Love in Tootsies
There was a lot of love and plenty of fashion at Toosties on a Tuesday night where high profile philanthropists gathered to celebrate “Love’s in Fashion” fundraiser benefiting Dec My Room. The charity Dec My Room aims to change a dull hospital room into a fun cozier, more personalized hospital room that is filled with things that the patient will find comforting during their stay. This innovative and unique charity was founded by Susan Plank and her daughter Kendall.
The event was a fashionable fete as guests mix and mingled in their fashionable best eagerly waiting to cheer for their favorite couples walk the ramp for this wonderful cause. Houston’s sweethearts Dominique Sachse and Nick Florescu looked ravishing on the catwalk while Texas A&M’s Johnny Manziel stole the show.
Red was certainly the favorite color of love and Carlos and Karina Barbieri did justice to the theme as they walked the ramp. Among the others on the catwalk were: Julie and Dr. David Brown, Gina Gaston and Mario Elie, Tiffany and Rick Smith, Duyen and Marc Huynh, Megan Sutton-Reed and Chris Reed, John Dascoulias with Clifford Pugh and Pam Morse with Dan Pastorini, Susan and Michael Plank, and more.
