Chamber Congratulates Dr. Durga Agarwal and Celebrates the New Year

The Indo American Chamber of Commerce of Greater Houston greeted the new year with a bang as they hosted their first networking event of 2014 on January 8, 2014 at the Hess Club. This event was focused on showcasing the success of Houston’s business community and offering small business owners, entrepreneurs and professionals a chance to network.

It was also a very special occasion as the chamber gathered together along with Harris County Judge Ed Emmett to congratulate Chamber Founding President Dr. Durga Agarwal on his being appointed to the Board of Regents, University of Houston System.

The crowd shared fond memories with Dr.Durga Agrawal while 2014 Indo American Chamber of Commerce President Sanjay Ram spoke about his upcoming goals and strategies with the chamber.

The event was graced by many noted business owners, entrepreneurs, media people, chamber members and many political personalities. Spotted at the event were: Harish Jajoo, Adam Gilmore, Ajit and Deepa Thakur, Asha and Pankaj Dhume, Sangeeta and Arun Pasrija, Neeta Sane, Pradeep Gokhale, Nitin Kapadia, and many others.
