WOW Moment at Tootsies with designers Nicole Miller and Claudia Lobao

More than 300 plus stylish people gathered at Tootsies on a Wednesday night to support the 10th anniversary of Dress for Success‘ young professional group, Women of Wardrobe (WOW).

This event has always been popular amongst Houston’s fashionable lot, and with designers like Nicole Miller and Claudia Lobao in the house it truly was a wow event. Models presented Nicole Miller’s 2013 Fall collection highlighting the many shades of blue, sequins work, minis and long dresses. While the models posed on raised platforms, guests got tempted to shop for clothes and jewelry.

W.O.W.’s agenda is to assist Dress for Success Houston through their involvement and volunteerism in order to support the overall mission. Each membership fee is used to purchase a new suit and accessories for a Dress for Success Houston client. Active W.O.W. members donate at least 3 hours of volunteer time to help Dress for Success Houston provide interview suits, encouragement, and career development to disadvantaged women.

Although many were spotted in Nicole Miller designs in the crowd, media divas: KPRC Channel 2’s Rachel McNeill, and Houston Chronicle’s Style critic Joy Sewing looked stunning in Miller. Also joining the fashionable bunch were: Hasti Taghi, Cortney Cole, Leisa Nelson Holland, Laura Max Nelson, Edward Sanchez, Ros Pactor, Rita Roy, Shelby Hodge, Roslyn Bazzelle, Marcy de Luna, and many others.
