Hats Fascinators and Book Signing

What better way to spend an early afternoon than by sipping fine champagne, trying hats and fascinators by Gabriela Dror and reading Pily Simon‘s ‘Courage of Hope‘ at Hotel Granduca. Fashionable ladies flocked in groups to support the partnership of Gabriela Dror, popularly known as the stunning hat designer, and author, musical virtuoso, and philanthropist Pily Simon along with Alex Rodriguez Mercedes-Benz.

There was so much talent and color in the room that we can officially say spring is here. Gabriela’s passion for fashion started way back in a close-knit family of Slovakian heritage. Dror has a very striking presence and feels that women look fabulous in hats, bringing back the Paris and Milan looks. Pily hails from both Mexican and German heritage, speaking several languages, she also loves to play the harp, but what is most passionate to her is to help heal child victims of abuse. Simon’s passion is to help and encourage children and teenagers and she works closely with numerous charities including Helping Hands Medical Missions, the Fort Bend Choir of Texas, Pure Fashion, and she is dedicated to support and advocate for The Children’s Assessment Center (CAC).

Gabriela Dror’s collection was very well received and is worn by style icons like Lynn Wyatt and Becca Cason Thrash. Her designs are playful yet sophisticated, with playful accents of satin, bold wide brimmed to cloche, doing a perfect job in bringing the old world into a contemporary setting. Well what next!
