It’s Mommy Time with The Mommie Series – Houston
Never a dull moment in Houston. Whether single or a mommy, this city seems to have something for everyone. The Mommie Series is the perfect example for that. On August 1, 2012 at La Mode Lingerie on on West Gray, MISTI STYLE is introducing The Mommie Series – Houston, a refreshing take on motherhood, designed specifically for modern Houston moms. A team of successful female experts will enlighten, educate and entertain the audience (mostly moms) with their knowledge of FAMILY, HEALTH, FINANCE, and FASHION. This exclusive event is targeted for a sophisticated audience with the goal to keep them feeling pampered and engaged. The female experts plan to enlighten the audience with a seasonal theme, ‘Back to the Basics‘.
The evening will include champagne, hors d’oeuvres from Green Plate Kids, and trendy swag bags along with an interactive affair with guest speakers like Neha Gupta, owner of Elite Private Tutors, Dr. Debra Cutler, Pediatrician at Kelsey-Seybold Clinics, and Claudia Kolker, author of ‘The Immigrant Advantage’.
The creator of The Mommie Series – Houston Misti Pace-Krahl is also the owner of MISTI STYLE, a full fashion styling company offering wardrobe styling, fashion production, and photo styling. Misti has an extreme passion for the Houston community. She is on the Host Committee(s) for Recipe for Success/Dress for Dinner and HYPS (Houston Young Professionals Society).
While continuously supporting Houston female professionals to speak at The Mommie Series – Houston, it also opens her eyes to what Houston has to offer everyone. “I believe that motherhood does not come with a manual, although we’d like an instructional booklet and DVD upon leaving the hospital with our bundle of joy, it’s just not reality. But one thing is certain: Motherhood is a lifelong journey of learning. With so many unexpected twists and turns along the way, it would be nice to get some direction and thus The Mommie Series,” shares Misti.
