Houstonians know how to woo women. The Valentine’s Day weekend was packed with high powered events all set to lure the ladies of Htown, starting off on Friday February 10, 2012 with the grand re-opening of Chloe Dao’s boutique. Previously known as Lot 8 this Project Runway winner designer diva invited fashion lovers for a sneak peak preview of the Spring Collection 2012 at the newly named Dao Chloe Dao.
Dao carries a very impressive array of color palates for this Spring and South Asians will love it as it is all about the bright colors. Absolutely enjoyed the shades of blue, red and hot pink. Long casual dresses at very affordable prices. You are sure to find something at Dao’s boutique with blouses for $20-$68 to dresses ranging up to $400. So get ready for a colorful spring!
Meanwhile at Highland Village a Pre-Valentine’s Day event was hosted at Valobra Jewelery a kick-off reception for the UNICEF World Ball. Philanthrophists and high profile guests gathered in cocktail attire to participate in the celebrations as the reception was generously underwritten by Franco Valobra. He also donated an exqusite necklace set to be auctioned at the ball. The temptations were very high at the reception as Valobra master’s in Italian Fine Jewelery.
