Sinclairs Retreat Dooars Chalsa Experience

On a recent trip to India. I tucked in a quiet trip to Sinclairs Dooars situated near Chalsa on a small hill overlooking the Dooars Valley near West Bengal. The resort is spread over 20 acres of land and offers 66 cottage styled suites equipped with modern amenities. Undoubtedly this could be claimed to be the best accommodation available in the entire Dooars region.

One of the highlights of the resort was the food that offered scrumptious Indian and continental dishes. The Banyan Tree restaurant served a multitude of cuisines with a well stocked Taskar Bar right in place to relax at sundown. The mouth watering Kashmiri mutton, mustard fish curry, authentic Bengali cuisine were quite irresistible choices. The other must do at the resort is to get your beauty treatment. I certainly did not miss the opportunity of mud wraps, shirodhara (an oil head massage) and full body massage.

Overall a perfect place to just relax and enjoy the lush green environment.
