Experience with an Insider is the motto of Houston Greeter that hosted a VIP Reception on Tuesday December 7, 2010 at the newly renovated Hotel Icon in Downtown Houston. The Board of Directors of Houston Greeters and Event Co-Chairs Sandi Seltzer Bryant and Michele LaRocco invited some special guests for an evening called Hats off To Houston, a VIP Reception along with special guests Mayor Annise Parker and Harris County Judge Ed Emmett.

Emcee for the event was Maria Todd, 96.5 Radio with other highlights like art works created by Sandi Seltzer Bryant for Houston Greeters, raffle, and ebay auction of “Insider Experiences” and celebrity hats.

Houston Greeters is a free service that introduces you to a Houstonian who will help explore and experience what the city is all about. “See Houston with someone who loves the city.” says Council member Gordon Quan. “With Houston Greeters you will be able to discover the city’s hidden treasures, local flavors, sights, Hindu temples and other diverse cultures,” added Quan.
