Come winter and party season is in full swing. Recipe For Success hosted the perfect evening for Houston fashionistas and philanthropists. Party goers dressed up in furs, leather boots and pashmina shawls to enjoy an evening with designer Zang Toi along with a informal runway fashion show at Saks Fifth Avenue in the galleria mall on December 1st 2010.

Recipe for Success Foundation is dedicated to combating childhood obesity by changing the way our children understand, appreciate and eat their food, and by educating and mobilizing the community to provide healthier diets for children.

While guests sipped exotic cocktails and tasty bites the highlight of the evening was Zang Toi, a New York based Malaysian fashion designer who enthralled the audience with his breath taking 2011 Spring collection. In conversation with Zang it was revealed that his collection was an inspiration from the 1950s movie ‘The Giant’ a sprawling epic covering the life of a Texas cattle rancher and his family and associates.
